Do you like drawing, painting, photography or making collage, needlework, mosaic or digital art?
We’re celebrating brilliant ideas which help older people (70+) have a better life.
12 winners will get a gift voucher plus a donation to an older people’s charity of their choice, and their poster placed in a local care home.
Create an A3 size poster that shows how older people (70+) can live better lives. Ideas could be about health and wellbeing; combatting loneliness; having fun; creating a safe place to live; etc…
There are 4 categories open to anyone in the UK:
ages 7–11 (school years 3–6)
ages 12–18 (school years 7–13)
ages 19–69
ages 70+
Register online to enter before 6pm, Thursday 18 December 2014
Submit your artwork online (scan or photo) before 6pm, Thursday 26 February 2015
There are 3 winners in each category:
1st place – £200 gift voucher, £500 charity donation / 2nd place – £100 gift voucher, £250 charity donation / 3rd place – £50 gift voucher, £100 charity donation
Schools and groups will receive certificates for all participants.
Shortlisted artwork will be presented to an expert judging panel in March 2015. Winners will attend a prizegiving and will be featured in Jewish News in April 2015.
