Bowden in South Manchester is home to many ex-pats from the Lancashire resort of Southport, ‘Sandgrounders’.
As part of the Chief Rabbi’s initiative of twinning larger communities with smaller ones, Arnside Road synagogue is staging a weekend Shabbaton and inviting Bowden members, along with other former Sandgrounders to a full programme of events on 3rd & 4th March 2017.
