Kings Lynn

The first Jews probably arrived in Kings Lynn around 1150. But a Jewish community proper was found in 1737, one of the earliest to come about outside London.

The current community is associated with Beth Shalom Reform Synagogue in Cambridge. Most meetings are in people's homes.
Since 2019 they have been custodians of the Old Jewish Cemetery King's Lynn. In 2022 the Cemetery Friends Association was formed.

More details about the cemetery can be found via the IAJGS link below.

Periodically the Association holds open days for the public to visit the Cemetery. The latest, in September 2023, attracted 188 visitors.
