Following the success of the Shabbos Project last year in SouthAfrica, the UK is getting in on the act.
The Chief Rabbi, Ephraim Mirvis, is asking Jewish Communities throughout the UK to take part this coming October, so that all Jews communally come together on this particular Shabbat, to celebrate it as one.
Whether its taking part in a giant Challah Bake, making Friday Night special in your own home…. doing something Special, or doing something together that you wouldn’t normally do… to make this Shabbat Special, is the call that is going out to the country.
