1. The Israeli government is to grant a prize to encourage research into the topic of Jews from Arab lands. It will also give medals to individuals or organisations active in this field.
2.The Israel Education Ministry has declared that schools will mark 30 November, the day to remember Jewish Refugees from Arab countries, in accordance with the recommendations of the Biton Report.
3. The Tunisian parliament has passed a ‘stealth expropriation law’. It is expected to impact on absent Jewish property owners and their heirs.
