Over a thousand people gathered in London on Sunday 31 August to demand “zero tolerance” of Anti-semitism in Britain.

The grass roots organisation Campaign Against Anti-semitism, grew from just  initial posting on various social media. It quickly took up the cause of the Tricycle Theatre withdrawing its association with the Jewish Film Festival, resulting in the theatre reversing its stance.
Following this the CAA worked closely with the Office of the Chief Rabbi and the United Synagogues to organise this rally.

The rally heard from many speakers including CAA co-ordinator Mandy Blumethal, Chief Rabbi Mervis. The rally was also addressed by NorthWest Friends of Israel, who outlined how they had countered the boycott of Manchester’s Kedem shop, which sells Isreali Dead Sea products.
