Bradford Hebrew Congregation

Previous Addresses: Spring Gardens, Bradford (1905 to 1970) (consecrated 24 June 1906) 22 Houghton Place, Bradford (1885 to 1905)

In 1890 a rival congregation was founded at 25 Houghton Street, but the two congregations was amalgamated in about 1899. Prior to 1885, the congregation met in a room in Tyrrel Street, Bradford.

    Congregation winding up, but Purim service held at refurbished Cemetery Ohel at Scholemoor in March 2015.

    Original buildings in Houghton Place Bradford, now demolished.
    Spring Garden synagogue is now a Muslim primary School.
