Blackpool Reform Jewish Congregation is a constituent of the Movement for Reform Judaism. They are also a members of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, The Jewish Representatives Council of Greater Manchester and Region and also the Blackpool Faith Forum.
Service times are normally Friday evening at 8pm and Saturday morning at 11am.

”Rabbi Dr. Erich Bienheim – a Personal Biography” by Rabbi Dr. Walter Rothschild is now published on Amazon.co.uk and on Kindle. (£5.99 and £ 2.99 respectively.) This includes as extensive a biography as can be achieved with the sources currently available and an overview of some of the history of Bradford Synagogue as well. He served this community until his death in 1962
Also available are:
’99 Questions about Judaism’, (5.99 and 3.99 respectively) – with, very importantly, not ‘Answers’ but ‘Responses’.
Also three volumes (so far) of ‘Tales from the Rabbi’s Desk’ which reflect some of the experiences of a Rabbi in the North of England and in Germany – these are not ‘true’ stories but ‘authentic’, a significant difference.

I am helping to organise an interfaith event on Saturday 18th November in Blackburn.
Unfortunately we do not have a large Jewish community but we were hoping for some representation.
