SHARING ONE SHABBAT
ALL TOGETHER
WHEREVER YOU ARE
ON YOUR OWN - WITH FAMILY - WITH COMMUNITY
Individuals and communities have felt so cut off from one another.... and not just during the pandemic!
NOW FEEL THAT EVERYONE IS DOING THE SAME AS YOU - on the same Shabbat
3rd & 4th September 2021
Be involved with as much or as little of ONE Shabbat as you like
Friday: Kabbalat Shabbat...
join in the JSCN musical Kabbalat Shabbat, or we'll have a specially commissioned piece that can be used as part of your own local service too.
We'll have contributions from communities all over the UK too.
Friday Night Dinner:
decorate your shabbat table with things from our goodie-bag... whether its just you, or you are with family or community... take a photo of your table (before shabbat is in) and send it to us. We'll put up a picture window of everyone's shabbat tables.
Saturday, Shabbat Service:
every community can use another special commissioned piece to include in their Shabbat Service
Saturday night Havdalah:
A very special Havdalah includes participation live from Israel and more contributions from communities all over the UK
We'll have things you can include in your local Havdalah too.
SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE - whether you are conducting your own Kabbalat Shabbat and Havdalah, or whether you are taking part in the JSCN events
SO THAT EVERYONE is sharing ONE Shabbat
