The Passover Haggadah printed in Venice in 1609 was truly beautiful, and became justly famous. It appeared simultaneously with translations in Judeo-Italian, Judeo-Spanish and Judeo-German, the languages spoken by the different components of the Jewish community living in Venice at the time.
The Haggadah was edited by renowned rabbi Leone da Modena, who also curated the Judeo-italian translation. Venice in the 17th century was one of the great centers of Jewish publishing, and this Haggadah was one of its masterpieces.
