The Sheffield Branch of the council of Christians and Jews have announced that a Provincial Study Day will be held in Sheffield on 18th May 2015.
“Finding Common Ground”
It takes as its starting point the 50th Anniversary of the Nostra Aetate, the declaration on the Relation of the Church with Non-Christian Religions, 1965.
The cost for the day is £25, including lunch and all refreshments.
Key note speakers include, The Most Reverend Kevin McDonald, Chair of the Bishop’s Conference Committee for Other Faiths and of the Committee for Catholic-Jewish Relations, and Rabbi Jonathan Golomb, Chairman of the Rabbinical Council of the Provinces and Rabbi of the Sheffield Jewish Congregation.
