    Hello

I was a student at the university from 1959 to 1965 and lodged with Mrs Weintraub (Husband Sidney was Snr Lecturer in Physics) for the first two years, and went to the wedding of their daughter to Jack Rosenbaum. I vaguely remember the son Ivor (he was much younger than me), and the widow of the (probably pre-war) Southampton Rabbi. And I remember another lodger, Ralf, who like me lived near Stamford Hill in London.

Hallo, i was a student at Southampton University 1964 – 67 and regularly attended Friday evening services. I remember Ivor Weintraub and family, also a family who had a son (i think he was Michael?) and they often invited me for dinner on Friday evening. Are they still there? My name was Clare Baker then. i was small, with long dark hair.

    Dear Sir/Madam

I am a dentist who is going to join a surgery in Portsmouth. I was told that you are the nearest religious congregation to the surgery. Could you please give me an idea about accomodation in Southampton and how far from the surgery, and is it possible to go everyday . Do you have daily /Shabbath services, please.

    Yours sincerely

  4. My husband and I will be spending June 22 at the Hotel Mercure and we were wondering if there are any families that would be having a Sabbath dinner which we could join that evening? It would have to be close enough to walk since I follow sabbath and do not travel by car.
    Thank You.

Good Morning this is a message for the Hon. Secretary …. I work in a secondary school in Basingstoke and am enquiring as to a visit to the Synogogue for a unit on the course I am delivering on “Identity and Cultural Diversity”. Would you be able to accommodate 10 children and 2 members of staff please.
I look forward to your reply
