4 Communities Revived

Since January 2016 we have added 4 newly created communities to JSCN.

Lincoln, York, Durham and Chester.

These communities have historical roots but their previous incarnations ceased to exist for the last few generations.

Each of these communities is building a programme of events and Shabbat services.

If you, your family or friends would like to get in touch with any of these communities… just click on the names above to read their info on JSCN and send them a message.

PJ Library

Over the summer PJ Library contacted JSCN to help them reach kids across the country, especially those who live in a small community or in no Jewish community at all.

They have a wonderful remit… to give away books FREE to Jewish kids.

They sent us some samples and they look great. On all sorts of topics… one of them even explains Yiddishy words.

PJ Library (PJ for pyjamas!) gifts away high-quality Jewish books to families with children aged between six months and eight years old every month. The award-winning books celebrate Jewish culture, values and traditions through a wide range of stories and beautiful illustrations. PJ Library books are posted directly to children so they can build their own Jewish bedtime libraries.
