Could somebody please advise if the refugee centre became a Jewish Boys Hostel? My father who was from Austria originally, refugee in Millisle, NI, was the secretary there in 1948.

His name was Max Weinberger, and I am actively researching his history. Any information very gratefully received

I live in Sunderland at the moment and have done alot of research I would like to convert to Judaism or at least speak to a practicing Jew to discuss how to convert. Please someone help me

I am looking for my relatives in the UK. My Grandfather died prior to my Mother’s birth during WWII in the former USSR. His siblings moved to the UK. I found my Great Aunt’s daughter-in-law’s cousin. He told me that my Great Aunt’s second son was named Hyman Bernick. He married Hilda Rose Goldstein. Their son David Bernick married Beaula Penn in 1959 in Synagogue, Ryhope Road, Sunderland.
