The Jewish Small Communities of Blackpool, Southport, St Annes and Lancaster/Morecambe are staging their next Any Questions event in the last week of October.

Jane Kenndy MP, Prof. Les Lancaster, Ruth Shaylor and Prof. Roy Levin, will be answering topical questions.

The line up has a distinctly medical theme. All the panelists specialise in healthcare and/or psychology and are prominent in their respective fields.

Seat and travel reservations and full event details can be obtained from each of the synagogue or community offices. This is a FREE EVENT.

This year’s Holocaust memorial parade in Southport was well attended despite the biting cold. Our photograph shows Rabbi Book addressing those gathered.

This year’s Hanukkah extravaganza took the form of a Murder Mystery. It was enacted during the course of the Gala Dinner, ostensibly to celebrate Ed’s birthday.
The murder had been committed following a heated dance competition. But who could the murderer be?… a competitor, the caterer, the waitress….?!!!!!!
